The Sweet Far Thing (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy #3) by Libba Bray

The Sweet Far Thing (Gemma Doyle, Book 3) [Deckle Edge] (text only) 1st (First) edition by L. Bray - L. Bray

I really wanted to give this book 5 stars. I wanted to love it. However, there were just too many lulls in the story. With a book this long, that made it hard to stay enthralled. I don't dislike long books, but I think the author could have used the pages more wisely. Even so, there was still a lot more action in this last book than the previous one and that's why I still liked it enough to give it 4 stars.I don't know if I liked the ending. I won't give away any details, but it wasn't what I expected and I still haven't decided what I thought about it.I listened to the audiobook and I didn't know if I would like the reader at first, but she was perfect. She did an amazing job of all the different voices, including the realms creatures.Overall, I enjoyed this series. After three books, though, I was really hoping to know more about the realms.
